Polish weather service warns of storms with up to dozens of litres of rain per sq metre

Poland's Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued yellow weather alerts for parts of the country, warning of heavy thunderstorms. Rainfall totals could reach several dozen litres per square metre in the most affected areas. Residents in the warned regions are urged to take precautions.
