Jeff Bezos in talks to join £1.35bn bid for 30% stake in Liverpool FC

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in talks to join a consortium led by former QPR co-owner Amit Bhatia, which has made a provisional £1.35bn offer for roughly 30% of Liverpool FC from Fenway Sports Group. Bezos has a personal fortune of around $257bn and previously explored buying NFL franchises. Other investors are also being sought to fund the bid.
