Ortega declares Nicaragua will hold no more elections

Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has publicly declared there will be no elections that could allow the opposition to take power. Once a symbol of popular revolution four decades ago, Ortega has steadily consolidated authoritarian rule and brought the country's institutions under his personal control.
