Italian FA ready to make financial exceptions to hire Guardiola

Italian Football Federation president Giovanni Malagò has confirmed that Pep Guardiola held talks about becoming Italy's head coach. The federation is willing to make financial exceptions to its usual rules in order to secure the Catalan manager. Guardiola has been a free agent since leaving Manchester City at the end of last season.
