I Swapped All My Google Widgets for Privacy Alternatives — Here's What I Found

An Android user replaced five standard Google home-screen widgets — Search, Weather, Calendar, Keep and Discover — with privacy-focused alternatives to see what data collection he could cut out. Some swaps were smooth and permanent, but a few alternatives proved too inconvenient to stick with long-term.
