Polish retail sales up 6.2% year-on-year in June, beating analyst forecasts

Poland's retail sales in constant prices rose 6.2% year-on-year in June 2026, according to Statistics Poland (GUS), beating analyst forecasts. Compared with May, sales grew by 1.4%. The better-than-expected result surprised the market on the upside.
