French environment minister quits over parliament's approval of bee-harming pesticide bill

French Environment Minister Monique Barbut announced she would submit her resignation to President Emmanuel Macron after parliament gave final approval to a controversial bill allowing pesticides harmful to bees. Barbut had been a firm opponent of the legislation.
