Peacock cancels Hostel series – Eli Roth pivots to a feature film

A Hostel TV series, announced in 2024 for Peacock with Paul Giamatti starring and Eli Roth directing, has been cancelled after the streamer got cold feet. Roth revealed the news on The Weekend Warrior podcast and announced plans to rework the project as a feature film instead. Whether Giamatti will remain attached has not yet been confirmed.
