Syrskyi After Dismissal: "My Job Is War" — Lists Ukraine's Battlefield Gains
General Oleksandr Syrskyi published his first statement after being dismissed as commander of Ukraine's Armed Forces. He took command in February 2024 during a "very difficult period" and listed Kyiv's battlefield successes against Russia. Handing over command, he stressed: "I said it before and I'll say it today: my job is war."
