Polish canoe slalom teams narrowly miss medals at World Championships in Oklahoma City

At the Canoe Slalom World Championships in Oklahoma City, Polish teams came agonisingly close to the podium. The men's trio of Mateusz Polaczyk, Michał Pasiut and Dariusz Popiela finished fourth, while Klaudia Zwolińska, Dominika Brzeska and Hanna Brzeska placed fifth in the women's team event. A barely perceptible error reportedly cost the men's squad the gold medal.
