Speedway fans in Poznań and Bydgoszcz chose the track over the World Cup final

Despite the football World Cup final clashing with a Metalkas 2nd Division speedway match in Poznań, fans of PSŻ and Polonia turned out in large numbers at Golęcin stadium. Attendance was also strong at other venues in the Polish Speedway League. Speedway supporters showed their loyalty to the sport over the global football spectacle.
