Rubio in Manila: Iran controlling Strait of Hormuz would set dangerous precedent

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned at the ASEAN summit in Manila on Wednesday that allowing Iran to control the Strait of Hormuz would set a dangerous global precedent. He stressed, however, that Washington remains open to negotiations with Tehran. The remarks came during multilateral talks in the Philippine capital.
