Warsaw March of Remembrance honours women of the ghetto

A March of Remembrance dedicated to the women of the Warsaw Ghetto took place through the streets of Muranów in Warsaw. Participants set off from the former Umschlagplatz, the site from which Jews were deported to the Treblinka extermination camp. This year's event focused specifically on honouring women who lived and perished in the ghetto.
