US President Donald Trump is reportedly backing FIFA president Gianni Infantino to become the next UN Secretary-General, according to the New York Post. Trump believes the 56-year-old Swiss official commands global respect and has the ability to unite people. Current Secretary-General António Guterres's term expires in 2026.
