Spain Wildfire Burns 30,000 Hectares, Forces 1,300 Evacuations

A wildfire burning for five days in the La Mierla province of Castilla-La Mancha, central Spain, has spread beyond 30,000 hectares as of Tuesday. Around 1,300 residents were evacuated from 34 villages as firefighters continue to struggle to bring the blaze under control. The fire remains uncontained.
