Humanitarian worker monitored in London after potential Ebola exposure

A UK resident working as a humanitarian worker in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been medically evacuated to London after potential exposure to the Ebola virus. The worker had been treating Ebola patients in the DRC, where an active outbreak is ongoing. The UK Health Security Agency confirmed the individual is being monitored at a specialist hospital in London.
