Universal Pictures has dated the Snoop Dogg biopic "Snoop" for 6 August 2027, taking the slot of a previously announced untitled event film. Universal has been on a strong run with music biopics, having handled overseas distribution for the Michael Jackson film "Michael," which surpassed $1 billion globally, and previously producing the N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton."
