Polish government plans 76,800 PLN monthly cap and 250 PLN/hour limit for NHS-funded doctors

The Polish government has unveiled a draft reform of the healthcare system that would cap earnings from NFZ-funded services at 76,800 PLN gross per month and 250 PLN per hour for doctors. Beyond the salary cap, the legislation aims to regularise employment rules for medical staff and tighten oversight of public healthcare spending. The draft is currently at the consultation stage.
