Judge orders Trump to hand financial records of 400+ companies to BBC

Federal Magistrate Judge Enjoliqué Lett ruled Tuesday that President Donald Trump must hand over detailed financial records to the BBC in connection with his defamation lawsuit against the broadcaster. The judge found that since Trump placed the health of his businesses at the heart of the case, the BBC is entitled to examine their finances. The ruling covers more than 400 companies held in a Trump family trust, though Trump can appeal to U.S. District Judge Roy Altman.
