Northrop's robotic spacecraft could repair — or attack — enemy satellites

Northrop Grumman today launched its Mission Robotic Vehicle (MRV), a spacecraft with two robotic arms officially designed to refuel and repair satellites in orbit. At a quarterly earnings call, the company was asked whether the MRV could be used offensively against enemy satellites — and did not rule it out. The U.S. Space Force has publicly stated it is developing offensive space-based capabilities to protect friendly satellites.
