Disney layoffs hit National Geographic: Charlie Parsons exits after 15+ years

Charlie Parsons, SVP of Development at National Geographic, has been let go as part of Disney's latest round of layoffs announced on Tuesday. Parsons had been with the broadcaster for more than 15 years and worked on numerous projects for the factual brand. National Geographic is among the latest Disney units to be hit by the cuts.
