Disney lays off hundreds — Pixar loses around 150 employees

Disney laid off hundreds of employees across multiple divisions on Tuesday, including National Geographic and ESPN. Pixar was among the hardest hit, with estimates putting its job cuts at around 100 to 150 employees — a high single-digit percentage of its 1,100-strong workforce.
