Zelensky dismisses Ukraine's top general Syrsky, names Drapaty as replacement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed General Oleksandr Syrsky as commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces and appointed Mykhailo Drapaty in his place. The decision followed protests sparked by the earlier firing of the defence minister, who had clashed with Syrsky over wartime strategy.
