Sila raises $300M to expand battery materials factory for over 100,000 EVs

Battery materials start-up Sila has raised $300 million in a new funding round to expand its factory producing silicon-carbon anode material. The increased capacity is designed to power more than 100,000 electric vehicles, bucking the broader slowdown in EV investment.
