Sony, Annapurna and Plan B team up to adapt 'The Silent Patient'

Sony Pictures has joined Annapurna and Plan B to produce a feature film adaptation of Alex Michaelides' debut novel The Silent Patient, a New York Times bestseller. The story follows celebrated painter Alicia Berenson, who murders her husband and then falls permanently silent. No director or cast has been announced yet.
