"The Daily Show" to launch its first microdrama spoofing U.S. politics

Comedy Central has announced that "The Daily Show" will release its first vertical microdrama, spoofing both the current state of U.S. politics and the overwrought microdrama format itself. The production will feature a sleepy president, billionaires and a love triangle. No premiere date has been confirmed yet.
