The showrunner of the revived "King of the Hill" has clarified that Jonathan Joss's death was not the reason for John Redcorn's storyline change in season 15. The show returned after a 15-year hiatus, and season 14 saw Nancy Gribble secretly resuming her affair with Redcorn. The decision to alter that storyline in the new season was made for separate creative reasons, the showrunner says.
