Archaeologists uncover Roman military camp and soldiers' remains in south-west Slovakia

Archaeologists excavating in south-western Slovakia have uncovered a Roman military camp together with the remains of Roman soldiers. The find provides rare, concrete evidence of Roman legions operating in this part of Central Europe. The discovery offers new data on the extent of Roman imperial expansion north of the Danube.
