Augustus Raises $180M Series B at $1B Valuation to Build 'Global Dollar Bank'

Fintech startup Augustus has closed a $180 million Series B funding round at a $1 billion valuation. The company supports stablecoins alongside traditional payment rails including Swift, ACH and SEPA. Augustus aims to build what it calls a "Global Dollar Bank" bridging crypto and conventional finance.
