Journalists Urge WHCA to Defend Press Freedom at Rescheduled Dinner with Trump

Veteran and former journalists, led by ex-ABC News correspondent Lisa Stark and executive producer Ian Cameron, have sent a letter urging the White House Correspondents' Association to speak out forcefully against the Trump administration's attacks on press freedom. The call comes as Trump is set to attend the rescheduled WHCA dinner on Friday. The letter reiterates earlier demands that the WHCA take a stronger public stance in defence of journalists.
