New malware targets AI infrastructure — steals credentials and can wipe files

A newly discovered malware strain can burrow deep into AI coding systems to steal data and login credentials. The tool also features a so-called "death switch" that can destroy files and lock out legitimate users when triggered. The malware is designed to remain hidden in victims' blind spots, making it particularly difficult to detect and remove.
