Poland drafts its first Defence Industry Development Strategy for 2026–2030
The Polish government is preparing the country's first-ever strategic document on defence industry development — the Defence Industry Development Strategy for 2026–2030. It aims to define growth directions for domestic arms companies and boost their competitiveness. A key goal is to ensure that a larger share of defence spending strengthens Poland's own industrial capacity rather than flowing to foreign suppliers.
