It's amazing to hear how much noise two people can make together, especially if those people are both wigged-out avant-garde virtuosos. You probably already know about Colin Stetson, the baritone sax master who has recently turned toward scoring tense films like Hereditary and The Menu . Stetson is a born collaborator; earlier this year, he released Nethering , the album that he made with fellow outsider types Greg Fox and Trevor Dunn. And that brings us to the other name in this blog post's headline, the one you may not recognize: Scottish bagpipe experimentalist Brìghde Chaimbeul.
