Disney Cuts Several Hundred Jobs, Pixar and National Geographic Hit Hardest

Disney is laying off several hundred employees, with Pixar and National Geographic among the hardest-hit divisions. Staff at Disney Entertainment Television and Studios have also been notified of cuts. Separately, ESPN has let go of workers following a new deal with the NFL.
