Nolan on 'The Odyssey': 91 Days, 5 Countries and No "Cut!" on Set
Christopher Nolan and the cast of "The Odyssey" have shared details of an gruelling 91-day shoot across five countries, filming on the ocean, in mountain passes, forests and beaches while battling extreme weather. Nolan deliberately avoided shouting "cut!" on set as a directorial choice. The team also focused on elevating Homer's female characters beyond their original roles, drawing on lessons learned during "Oppenheimer."
