Nintendo moves to dismiss customer class action over Trump tariff refunds
Nintendo filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government in March 2025 seeking refunds, with interest, for tariffs paid under President Trump's trade policies. In April, two customers filed a separate class-action suit arguing they were also owed refunds after Nintendo raised hardware prices due to the tariffs. Nintendo is now asking the court to dismiss that customer class-action lawsuit.
