The US Defense Department concluded another round of its $1.1 billion Drone Dominance competition, aimed at boosting the domestic commercial drone industry for military supply. Of 49 companies that competed over 12 days at Camp Grayling, Michigan, 19 advanced to the next round of testing scheduled for August. Nearly half of the finalists are already listed on the Pentagon's Blue UAS Cleared or Blue UAS Select approved supplier lists.
