TIFF expands Platform competition to 12 films for 2025 edition
The Toronto International Film Festival has expanded its Oscar-qualifying Platform competition to 12 films for its upcoming edition, running September 10–20, 2025. Now in its eleventh year, the strand has alumni including Barry Jenkins (Moonlight), Darius Marder (Sound of Metal) and William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth). Director Amma Asante is among the announced jury members.
