"Lex Charlatan" Bill Clears Senate Health Committee: Fines and Bans for Quacks

Poland's Senate health committee has given a positive opinion on the "lex szarlatan" bill, which is set for a full Senate vote this week. The law would empower the Patient Rights Ombudsman to issue public warnings, order immediate suspension of activities dangerous to patients, and impose large financial penalties. The legislation aims to curb harmful pseudomedical practices across the country.
