Psychological horror 'Ancestral Beasts' drops trailer ahead of Fantasia world premiere

The first trailer has been released for psychological horror film "Ancestral Beasts," following a young Métis woman named Elyse who is stalked by a grotesque creature after returning to her ancestral home for her mental health. The project screened at Cannes 2025's Marché du Film as a Proof of Concept and became the first acquisition for Cercamon's new genre sales label. Its world premiere will take place at the Fantasia film festival.
