Port of Gdańsk handles record 41.7 million tonnes in H1 2026 — sixth largest in EU

The Port of Gdańsk handled 41.7 million tonnes of cargo in the first half of 2026, an increase of 3.4 million tonnes year-on-year — a 9% rise. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański announced on X that the port is now the sixth largest in the European Union. The result is a record for the port.
