Polish government approves state e-register for schools at a cost of 190 million PLN by 2035

The Polish government approved a bill creating a free, state-run electronic school register available to pupils and parents. The system's implementation cost is estimated at around 190 million PLN through 2035. The proposal drew objections from the technology sector and the Finance Ministry, but the government pressed ahead regardless.
