Polish health ministry inspects Łódź hospital after cancer programme admissions halted
Poland's Ministry of Health has launched an urgent inspection of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Medical University of Łódź after reports that it had suspended admissions to drug programmes, including oncology. Government spokesman Adam Szłapka announced that the inspection has taken place and results are available. He stressed that such situations are unacceptable and will be addressed each time they arise.
