New antibody drug halts aggressive prostate cancer spread in preclinical tests

Scientists have developed a fully human antibody that halted the growth and spread of aggressive prostate cancer in preclinical research. The drug works via an unusual mechanism that could open the door to a safer treatment for advanced disease. Further testing is required before the therapy can advance to human clinical trials.
