FIFA considers expanding World Cup to 64 teams

FIFA president Gianni Infantino is considering expanding the World Cup from 48 to 64 teams. This year's tournament was the first to feature 48 sides. Infantino argued that "the whole world should be able to dream of the World Cup, not just Europe and South America."
