144 migrants dead or missing off Mauritania coast after boat disasters

The UN Refugee Agency reported Tuesday that 144 migrants and refugees are dead or missing following maritime disasters off the coast of Mauritania last week. Two children were brought safely ashore from one of the sinking boats, but lost their entire families during the journey from Gambia.
