Tusk government caps NHS doctor pay at 76,800 PLN per month

Poland's Council of Ministers has approved a healthcare reform package including a monthly pay cap of 76,800 PLN and 250 PLN per hour for contract doctors in the public health system. Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at the opening of the cabinet meeting that "healthcare is not simply a brutal business." The reforms aim to regulate remuneration in the public health sector.
