Pathologist from Southern Hospital fired two days after PiS MP's intervention

The National Oncology Institute immediately terminated its contract with pathologist Kamil Sokół, who took part in the controversial autopsy of a patient who died in the bathroom of Warsaw's Southern Hospital. The dismissal came just two days after PiS MP Janusz Cieszyński publicly intervened. The institute's management acted without waiting for the investigation's outcome, ending the cooperation after a meeting with the doctor.
