Białystok: off-duty officer catches 22-year-old who beat elderly man on street

In broad daylight on a main street in Białystok, a 22-year-old approached a 58-year-old man asking for a cigarette. When refused, he verbally abused then physically attacked the man, who fell to the pavement. An off-duty police officer witnessed the incident and intervened, detaining the attacker.
