Red alerts and wildfires in Sicily as extreme heat grips Italy

Nearly 20 major Italian cities are under red heat alerts as extreme temperatures scorch the country. Massive wildfires have broken out in Sicily, and a firefighter suffered a heart attack while battling one of the blazes. The extreme heat is also causing infrastructure failures and widespread power outages across Italy.
